You are probably already familiar with the Holy Donut moving into the space vacated by Bill’s Pizza in The Old Port of Portland but it won’t be the only new location in southern Maine this year. The Holy Donut plans to open a new boutique in Arundel as well as.
According to MaineBiz, The Holy Donut will open a new location at 1181 Portland Road. The Holy Donut will need some time to build the new Arundel location to their liking, but are hoping to have a grand opening at some point in August this year. This will be more than just another location for a growing donut business, it will be their first store in York County.
This should be an important and very busy couple for The Holy Donut. Their new Portland location along Commercial Street is slated to open in early July. This location gives them incredible visibility and easier access for donut lovers. Their location in Arundel offers them a chance to expand their footprint and reach some of the hottest towns in Maine right now, including Biddeford. After the opening of the two stores, The Holy Donut will have up to five stores in Maine, with stores in Scarborough, Auburn, Arundel and two in Portland.
